LET'S CELEBRATE ST PATRICKS DAY

On March 17th Irish heritage people celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

Students at CEIP Manuel Ruiz Zorrilla are preparing the celebration doing different activities in the classroom with the help of Carmen, our conversation assistant during this term.

TEACH IN SPAIN PROGRAMME AT SCHOOL!

El CEIP Manuel Ruiz Zorrilla está participando en el programa Teach in Spain de colaboradores voluntarios norteamericanos en centros de Castilla y León. 

Carmen Castillo será la colaboradora voluntaria que permanecerá en nuestras aulas desde el 10 de enero hasta el 21 de marzo de 2018. Su función principal será la de apoyar en las clases de inglés desde Infantil a Primaria, acercando a los alumnos no sólo la lengua americana sino también a aspectos de su cultura y su país, Estados Unidos.

Teach in Spain programme is at school. A programme in which an English-speaker volunteer come to our school and support teachers in their English lessons. Carmen Castillo is the one who is coming to our school. She will be at school from the 10th of January to next 21st of October. One of the most important aspects of the programme is that she will bring American language to every classroom but also aspects about her culture and her country, the United States of America.

CRIE BILINGÜE 2017. SEGUNDA SEMANA

Los alumnos de sexto A van a asistir al CRIE Bilingüe de Almazán durante cuatro días de esta semana. Están entusiasmados porque sus compañeros del otro sexto ya han regresado y traen muy buenas sensaciones y grandes experiencias.
Esta es  la presentación del pueblo y del colegio que ellos han elaborado.

CRIE BILINGÜE 2017

Los alumnos de sexto de Primaria acuden hoy al CRIE Bilingüe de Almazán. Van muy ilusionados porque van a conocer a nuevos profesores y nuevos compañeros con quienes compartirán estos cuatro días cargados de grandes experiencias.

Los alumnos del curso 6ºB han preparado una presentación del pueblo y del colegio para darlo a conocer a los participantes de los otros centros. Este es el resultado.

Year-6-students are joining in the Bilingual CRIE, in Almazán. They are really excited because they are going to meet new teachers and new friends with whom they are going to live lots of great experiences.

HALLOWEEN 2017

HALLOWEEN PARTY AT SCHOOL

El pasado 31 de octubre celebramos la fiesta de Halloween en el colegio. Todos los alumnos y profesores hicimos un recorrido por los pasillos del centro para poder disfrutar de las  decoraciones que colgaban de paredes y ventanas. Finalmente disfrutamos de las actuaciones de los alumnos en grupos por niveles en el patio delantero del colegio.

Last 31th of October we celebrated a Halloween Party at school. Students and teachers walk around the halls watching the beautiful decorations on the walls and windows. Everyone dressed up with great costumes and students sang and danced awesome Halloween songs in the playground.

Durante los días previos a la fiesta de Halloween, se realizaron diversas manualidades; entre ellas los alumnos de sexto, elaboraron un bonito decorado del que todos los alumnos hemos disfrutado haciéndonos fotos muy divertidas en grupos.

Students at school have elaborated awesome crafs to decorate the school, including a great poster, used for taking wonderful pictures in the activity Halloween Photocall.

Bienvenidos todos un curso más al blog de la Sección Bilingüe de CEIP Manuel Ruiz Zorrilla.

Durante el presente curso se seguirá el modelo de Proyecto Bilingüe que comenzó el año pasado, en el que se imparte una hora semanal en lengua inglesa de las áreas de Ciencias de la Naturaleza y otra del área de Ciencias Sociales, y se imparten 4 horas semanales del área inglés en primero y segundo de Primaria y cinco horas semanales a partir de tercero.Los materiales necesarios se pueden encontrar en la pestaña LIBROS DE TEXTO de este mismo blog.

En este espacio, como siempre, os iremos informando de las novedades y de algunas de las actividades más interesantes. 

Desde la Sección Bilingüe del MRZ os deseamos un feliz curso 2017-2018 a toda la comunidad educativa.

Welcome everyone to the Bilingual Section site.

This new school year we will follow the Bilingual Project started in 2016:  the no linguistic subjects are Natural Science and Social Science. Both subjects are taught in Spanish and in English. You can find the materials we will use in these two subjects on the textbook list.

On the other hand, the number of sessions of English in Primary Education, are four sessions weekly in Year 1 and 2, and five sessions from Year 3 to year 6.
