THEATRE

El pasado 29 de enero de 2014, la compañía de teatro Face to Face se desplazó hasta el Centro Cultural San Agustín de nuestra localidad para representar dos obras de teatro en Inglés para nuestros alumnos.
A las 11,00h los alumnos de Segundo y Tercer Ciclo de Primaria fueron espectadores y también actores de la obra TARZAN. En la sesión de las 12,45h los alumnos de Infantil y Primer Ciclo fueron espectadores de la obra JACK AND THE GIANT.
Durante todo el mes de enero se llevaron a cabo actividades con todos los alumnos de nuestro Centro (previas, de desarrollo y de refuerzo) de los contenidos trabajados en estas obras de teatro por parte de las profesoras de Inglés.

The well-known theatre company Face to Face travelled to our town's San Agustín Cultural Centre to perform two plays in English on 29th January 2014. Second and Third Cycle Primary students attended to the 11.00h session with the play TARZAN, they also were actors and actresses. The second session took place at 12.45h with the students from Infant and First Cycle of Primary as spectators of the play JACK AND THE GIANT.
Activities related to the topics and contents of the plays (warming, developing and reinforcing) were worked by the students with the help of the English teachers over the month of January.

CRIE BILINGÜE

Hoy se ha presentado oficialmente el CRIE Bilingüe, una ramificación del CRIE de Navaleno. Un nuevo proyecto adaptado a los tiempos actuales, en el que confluyen la inmersión lingüística en inglés, el conocimiento del entorno cercano y el uso de las Nuevas Tecnologías. Contará con profesorado debidamente formado y acreditado en B2. Será un CRIE "ambulante" que desarrollará sus actividades en Arcos de Jalón, Almazán y Ágreda. La participación en el mismo va dirigida al alumnado de Soria y su provincia de 5º y 6º de Primaria y 1º y 2º de ESO, los centros educativos serán los que realicen la solicitud de participación en este proyecto innovador.
¡Estamos deseando participar en el CRIE Bilingüe!!!

The Bilingual CRIE, a division of Navaleno's CRIE, has formally been introduced today. It is a new project adapted to the present, where lingüistic inmersion in English, knowledge of the environment and ITC meet. It will count on the participation on well prepared and B2 accreditted teachers. It will be a "traveling" CRIE, which activities will be developed in Arcos de Jalón, Almazán and Ágreda. Its participation is addressed to Year 5 and 6 Primary  and Year 1 and 2 ESO students from Soria and its province. Schools will apply for this innovative Project.
We are looking forward to participate in the Bilingual CRIE!!!

NUESTRO LOGOTIPO

Durante el pasado mes de diciembre los alumnos de Sexto Curso de Primaria participaron en el concurso del logotipo de la Sección Bilingüe. Entre todos los participantes se eligieron tres finalistas y el día 21 de diciembre se dió a conocer el logotipo ganador durante el desarrollo del festival navideño. ¡Muchas gracias a todos los que participasteis!

Students from Year 6 took part in the Bilingual Section's logo context along the month of December. Three finalists were selected among all the participants and on 21st December, at the Chrsitmas Festival, the name of the winner was made public. Thank you very much all the participants!

HALLOWEEN 2012

It is believed that Halloween celebration began thousands of years ago with the Celts. The Celtic people celebrated New Year’s Day on November 1st and, to protect themselves against the winter, they organised activities to scare off evil spirits the night of October 31st.

Many people believed that ghosts roamed the streets the night before All Saint’s Day so they wore masks and costumes to keep evil spirits away. In the past, aside from wearing masks, people used to also place bowls of food on their doorsteps to make sure ghosts and spirits didn’t enter in their houses.

We celebrated the traditional "Halloween Parade" at school on 31st October. It was scary!!!

INMERSIÓN LINGÜÍSTICA EN BENIGÀNIM

                                                                                                  

Los alumnos de Sexto Curso de Primaria tuvieron la oportunidad de participar en el Programa de Inmersión Lingüística en la granja-escuela "Torreta del Marqués" en Benigànim (Valencia). Fue una semana intensa en la que pudieron partticipar en todo tipo de actividades en Inglés, desde clases diarias de inglés hasta juegos y excursiones. Aquí va sólo un pequeño resumen de su participación en el mismo.

Year 6 students had the opportunity to take part into the Linguistic Inmersion Programme in "Torreta del Marqués" school-farm in Benigànim (Valencia). It was an intensive week in which they could participate in English assorted activities, from daily English lessons to games and trips. Here you can see a small sample of their participation in it.
